A dummy pass is where you go through the motions of looking to pass the ball and then, right at the point where you normally let go of the ball, you hold on. You use the dummy pass to fool your opposition into thinking you are going to pass and thus give yourself an advantage.

The spiral pass differs from the normal pass in that you apply spin to the ball as you make the pass. The ball spins lengthways around the short axis and travels fast and hard to the receiver. The spiral pass is commonly used as it is also a very accurate method for passing to a team member.

Catching the ball is the most common skill in Touch. Essentialy catching the ball is you just recieving a pass from your team mate without letting the ball hit the ground. It sounds easy, but it is perhaps the most common error you will see during a Touch game; the drop ball.
